The Centara eMessaging for LS Central connector adds a manual send action to the standard Customer Ledger Entries page. It lets users push selected invoices and credit memos to the Centara Message outbound queue from the customer ledger view — useful when auto-sending was off, the customer was added to PEPPOL after a transaction was posted, or a previous send failed and needs to be retried.

This page covers only the Centara addition. Standard BC fields and actions on the Customer Ledger Entries page are documented on Microsoft Learn.

Action

A new action is added under the processing group and promoted to the Process action category.

ActionWhat it does
Send to Centara MessageSends the selected customer ledger entries to the Centara Message outbound queue. Multi-select is supported — the action runs through each selected entry, adds the underlying transaction to Centara Message, and reports the total count when finished (“Sent N transactions to Centara Message.”). Only enabled when the highlighted entry is an Invoice or Credit Memo — other document types are filtered out.

Behind the scenes, the action selects the entries, filters to Invoice/Credit Memo, and calls the LS Central subscriber that hands each transaction off to the eMessaging engine. The eMessaging engine then generates the PEPPOL UBL document and dispatches it via CentaraIQ.

How this fits together

This is the manual sibling of the automatic outbound flow described in the LS Central overview:

  • For customers configured with the COURIERPEPPOL sending profile, documents are queued automatically when the customer ledger entry is posted
  • For one-off, retroactive, or retry scenarios, use Send to Centara Message from this page

After triggering the action, you can monitor delivery status on the underlying LSC Transaction Card — the E-Document Status, Identifier in Centara, and Sent to Centara On fields track the lifecycle of the dispatched document.
