Extra matching rules attached to an Advanced Vendor Posting Template — the modern replacement for Vendor Posting References.
Advanced line properties

This sub-page is shown under the Advanced Vendor Posting Template when Use Advanced Vendor Posting Template is on in Centara Setup. Each row narrows the match for the parent Advanced Vendor Posting Template line — typically a VendorNo + ItemSellersIdentification + AccountingCostLine combination.
It is functionally similar to the legacy Additional line properties sub-page but with a broader set of attributes that can be matched, including header-level fields and free-text notes.
Fields

| Reference Name | Which attribute of the inbound document or line this row matches against. Allowed values include the legacy set (Line Vat Category, Accounting Cost Header/Line, Additional Item Property, Commodity Classification, Item Name, Line VAT Percentage, Document Reference) plus Vendor No., Item Sellers Identification, Header Note, Line Note, Order Reference, and Buyer Reference. On Validate, the page tries to pre-fill Reference Value with the value taken from the current line/header so rules are quick to build. |
| Item Key | Required when Reference Name is AdditionalItemProperty, CommodityClassification, or DocumentReference — the key identifies which property the row matches on (e.g. property name = “Color”). Drill down to pick from existing property names on the document. |
| Operand | Comparison operator — =, <>, >, <, etc. Editable only for property-style rows and only when Contains is off. |
| Contains | When on, the rule matches if Reference Value appears anywhere in the actual line value (substring match). Forces Operand to =. Useful for free-text fields like Item Name or Notes where exact match is too strict. |
| Reference Value | The value to compare against. Drill-down picks from the values found on the current document for that reference name — eliminates typos. |

Migration from the legacy sub-page
The legacy Additional line properties sub-page is the same idea but limited to line-level attributes. To migrate:
- Turn on Use Advanced Vendor Posting Template in Centara Setup
- Move existing rows from Vendor Posting Setup → Vendor Posting References into Advanced Vendor Posting Template → Advanced line properties
- Take advantage of the new header-level reference names if they help collapse multiple legacy rows into one
